ICT as an Informative Tool 

 Information and Communication Technology (ICT) serves as a powerful tool for accessing, sharing and managing information in today's digital world. It enables users to gather data from various sources, communicate instantly across the globe and enhance understanding through multimedia resources. As an informative tool, it plays a vital role in every aspects of life by making information more accessible, timely, and reliable. 

 Facebook is not just a social networking platform but for me, it has become a powerful and convenient informative tool that helps me stay updated, learn new things and stay connected with my community. I use it to keep track of current events by following news pages like BBS, Kuensel and other reliable sources. These pages provide real-time updates on important happenings both locally and globally, making it easy for me to stay informed.

              

Kuensel and BBS pages gives important announcements and information which helps us to be aware of the upcoming events. 

 I also find Facebook very useful for educational purposes. There are many pages and groups that share informative posts, videos and tutorials on a wide range of topics. It’s a simple way for me to gain knowledge on different subjects even during my free time.

In addition, Facebook helps me stay connected with my local community. I follow community groups where people share useful information like job announcements, event updates and even emergency alerts. During times of natural disasters like forest fires or floods, I often see quick updates and safety instructions being shared, which helps me and others stay safe. I follow pages of NGOs and government organizations that raise awareness about social and environmental issues, which keeps me well-informed and engaged with important causes.  

          
Through the app, we get informed of various opportunities available and also helps to learn the subject matters through online.

As a future teacher, I can use Facebook to stay informed by joining educational groups and following pages that share teaching strategies, resources, and updates. It will also help me connect with other educators and stay updated on training programs or curriculum changes. 

Conclusion

 Technology plays a vital role in making information accessible, timely, and reliable, supporting continuous learning and global engagement. Facebook, as part of this digital landscape, enhances this by providing real-time news, educational content, and community connections. It helps users stay informed and engaged, making it a valuable tool for personal growth and professional development.
